The Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria approved the project of the Kazanlak Municipality for reconstruction of the ancient town ‘Sevtopolis` left under the waters of ‘Koprinka` lake.

The necessary constructions, connected with the project`s realizing of building of round dam facility with various cultural functions and park place round the archaeological structures of ‘Sevtopolis` demands the organizing of international competition.

The bigger competition and the necessary skills and qualification are required also by the significance of the object for the cultural heritage of Bulgaria and the developing of tourism in the region.

There will be established a committee of scientists, culture figures, tourism specialists and state, social and private organizations` representatives in support of the project.

The culture ministry also expects the skilled opinion of the National Archaeological Institute and the Center of Thracology.
